Where is larva in wow

I read this on one of the comments so I'm just showing that it worked today, just walked up the west coast of Ghostlands and found it after the 3rd fight!

I opted for the rare the first time bad idea. The rare Spirit Crabs are far more common that the Larva. Was no easy at all. Took almost an hour to find one found it in Goldenmist village NW coner of Ghostlands and I accedently kill it Finally found my second one about 30 minutes later in Tranquillien. It was not easy to get one - i am not patient anyways But i found one as secondary pet common. I am not looking further as i will not use it for battles.

Grubbs is easier to find and funnier in my opinion and having the same abilities. I feel lucky Ran around and found an uncommon spirit crab third one , with an uncommon larva too. Opted for the crab, read comments, wept.. Went back to the spirit crabs, first one, got another uncommon crab with a rare larva! Yay :. Oh lucky me! I already had a Spirit Crab but it wasn't a nice rare one so I opted for the rare and hoped to get another Larva soon.

I wish I'd read the comments here before I started farming the Spirit Crab. I got a rare crab after 20 or so clicks, which had a rare larva along with it. Two rares together, and I didn't have either!! They were the only rares I saw in the 2 hours 90 min.? I was in the area. I trapped the crab, and really wish I'd taken the larva - now I'm stuck with fighting only level crabs, hoping for a larva second, and a rare at that.

In Deathholme, Eversong Woods. After several kills, got Uncommon Larva as 2nd to Common Maggot. Killed all paws for about 45 minutes - no Larva. Fifth encounter was a Maggot, its 2nd was a Rare Larva loc After all that, at Tranquillien by Blacksmith Frances found a lvl 3 Larva on its own, it was a Rare, tamed it!

Didn't know they'd appear as singleton. Finally got my Rare after So thrilled to be done with this grind. Slot 2 Abilites Acidic Goo. Sticky Goo. Slot 3 Abilites Worst Fear. Aug 2, at pm Edits: 0 Haomarush-us Pets: Score: They share the same spawn place as Rat , so if you see a rat in their place, kill it. If you do come back to that point it maybe a Larva. They're around structures. Yes, they have the odd chance to spawn out in the middle of nowhere, but you're best chances are to hit up every structured area around.

After two kills it re-spawned as a Larva.

The hardest of the Pests to get without a doubt. If you have access to one 25 or 10 man , this was pretty painless. Comment by found one at 28,50 - Ghostlands. Comment by I believe these larvae exist only to get other animals in Ghostlands something to do; perhaps that's why they seem so rare.

In an hour of roaming around Ghostlands mostly around Tranquilien, but also in other places suggested here , I've spotted three. Ghostclaw Lynxes swiftly took care of those before I could get within range and shoot. The bottom line is that it pays off to look at other locations not indicated on the map here; if you're lucky enough, you might find a larva before some lynx does. I eventually found my kill at Comment by Luporik I can confirm, that other animals like bats kill the larva.

Also the larva share the spawn with spiders and other yellow level 1 animals. Comment by Janus1 Also found around 29,49 - Ghostlands. Comment by jlrm I read Melissand's post above and found a larva. Have a point for that idea! Heading toward Windrunner Spire, I spotted and killed mine - at approximately 21 52 location, not time. For those without a co-ordinates addon, get one consider TomTom. For now, press "m". Imagine a triangle, formed by: Windrunner Village point one , the cave to the south-east of Windrunner Village - that you can see on the map point two and Windrunner Spire point three.

You can search within that triangular area, but the centre of it is close to 21 52 Spam a target macro - one of the above - and you shouldn't have any trouble finding a larva here or somewhere close by. Comment by I found this guy just to the west of Zul'Aman at 60, I checked the other locations for about an hour earlier with no luck. Then I went to ghostlands again and found it in under a minute. Comment by If ur OCD like me then as and when you're fighting these pets you keep a record of the level and health of each as you pick it up, will update at some point as and when i get a rough idea of what it is for picking up a blue larva. Got a rare Spirit Crab right out of the gate first try. Then I just ran on up the coast looking for lvl 5's.

I also found a couple lvl 6's. Then there it was probably my 4th lvl 5 a rare larva, also got a rare maggot off one of the fights. Comment by Wolchara I've just cought mine rare, was attached to a lvl 5 Toad north of Dawnstar Spire. You'll have to be running over water a lot, and it's easy to forget about this mount since most people fly everywhere.

Obviously that's currently not an option in this zone. Comment by rsanders69 Found larva level 3 in Ghostlands as the primary battle pet. Coordinates 35 It was poor quality for better than running around for hours hoping it pops up with the Spirit Crabs.

Comment by Thanks, elvisdumbledore, for the waypoints. That worked well for me! I had my rare larva before completing the first circuit of the Ghostlands.

One thing: Many of Ghostland's creatures share those same spawning points. It might be better to label the waypoints "Spawning Points" so a user isn't expecting a larva at every one. I had no luck with the method of engaging the level 5 pets on the beach. Just my 2 cents worth. Scherzo aka Anthveleron the Arrogant. Comment by Kaliopae I just keep looking for Larva in all the wrong places If the critter you are looking for isn't the one there, kill it and maybe the respawn will be the one you want.

Comment by Spankypants The tip of farming the above level 5 spirit crabs for this larva is fab, thanks : I started at the bottom of the shore and worked my way up, picking up a few rares I didn't already have along the way, before finally getting this lil fella as a secondary to the crab near the end of the shore. For shared ones get at least one of a kind.
